Founded in 2007 as a collaboration between the Post Traumatic Stress Center and the New Haven Public School System, ALIVE now provides programs in New Haven and in Minneapolis/St. Paul to 5 high schools and 11 elementary schools, 1 community college, 1 transitional housing program for homeless youth, and 4 supported housing communities.
